In Sanskrit, Shakti is the energy or the driving force behind every thought or action happening in the creation around us.That is from the very origin to the successful fulfillment of the action there are three shaktis that are present.
Iccha Shakti, the strength in ‘will’ represented by goddess Parvati, Kriya shakti the strength in ‘action’ represented by goddess Lakshmi and Gnana shakti the strength in‘knowledge' by goddess Saraswati
Any imbalance in proper co-ordination causes doldrums……
To give an example, a desire without correlating knowledge will simply give a foolish desire like having a house on moon. Lack of knowledge also causes sticking with such a desire. Sometimes by having will and knowledge, just make life miserable. We have the knowledge that Surya-namaskar is really good for us and even have the will to do it but eventually it is the mind rather than the body which ends up doing Surya-namaskar. This is due to the lack of kriya shakti. Saying that only having Kriya shakti will keep you shifting the table from one place to another or wiping the same window all over again, jumping around places. Here there is lack of knowledge, ie. Gnana shakti.
The right knowledge arises right desire in us, with right desire right action follows naturally.
The perfect balance of all the three shaktis is rare and worth having.....
